We must have had some
sort of spring growth spurt and — needless to say — it’s been quite wonderful these past few days. Any break from the biting winter is always appreciated (despite knowing what’s really been going on with the environment *mental note: watch Before the Flood this weekend*). And with that said, showing off my new favorite embroidered elephant sweater by Russian designer Katya Dobryakova, whom I’m now obsessed with, has been a highlight. For one, elephants are among my favorite animals; two, the handmade embroidery is beautiful; three, it’s super comfortable (way more comfortable than your everyday sweater material); and four, the “trunk” arm is longer than the other, which kind of puts a hidden smile on my face. So, call me obsessed with the quirkiness this designer has to offer. Since it’s not that warm, a threw on a thin turtleneck underneath to make the sweater standalone. The apron front harem pant is by Matiere and I’m so glad they brought this style back for the winter season (remember this look that I still wear to this day?).
