Coming up in September,
(also, how is it already September soon?) I have a wedding in the south of Spain that I’m beyond excited about where the weather is bound to be a solid 80 or 90 degrees. Dress code? Black tie. Now, I’m not in trouble — I own a tux that I bought for the HRC gala back in February that I could wear, but that was in February. But thinking about the heat in my only wool tuxedo might be unpleasant. So when I came across this linen tuxedo by J.Lindeberg, I knew it’d come to good use. For one, summer equates to linen for breathability (given). Two, I love breaking up a tuxedo: using the paints with the grosgrain or satin stripe and some white sneakers or sandals with a comfortable t-shirt; or using the jacket with a good pair of jeans. With some creativity, the investment in a black tuxedo will come very much in handy. As you can see with this outfit, I played down the tuxedo look with a floral shirt and sandals.
