I’m doing two things
with this post: I’m unofficially closing up a summer (giddy for fall) and I’m closing up two years living in West Chelsea where I shot this look (hello, Brooklyn). I think we all deserve this weekend to relish the moment, relax, put our phones down (within reason), and kick back, so I hope you are all doing one, if not all four, of those. I’ll be in the Hamptons come Saturday, so I’ll be taking advantage of all four (err, three-ish) as when Sunday rolls around, I’ll be getting all too familiar with cardboard and SCOTCH — wishing it were the other Scotch — packing up my apartment for the move across the East River after seven years living in Manhattan. Labor Day Weekend doesn’t switch over to cooler temperatures immediately, so I’m taking advantage of the Hawaiian shirt frenzy, doing it my way, and walking into the weekend with a clear focus on myself ready to embark on a new chapter. I’m hella ready.
