Well that flew by. The inaugural season of NYFW:M (New York Fashion Week: Men’s) was a thrilling whirlwind of style made up by a wealth of incredible designers, either new, emerging or well-seasoned; countless Uber rides downtown; client meetings galore; several toe blisters; extra caffeine; and enough presentations of shirtless models to confirm why going paleo is pretty much the best idea ever. All in all? My busiest week of the year turned out to be one of the best — can’t complain. I kicked off day 1 working from home (per usual), then a 12:30 luncheon to celebrate the launch of Uri Minkoff’s menswear collection, client meetings in TriBeCa, and SS16 presentations several designers at Industria Studios. Collections of note include Cadet, Chapter, CWST and Matiere, the latter of which I devote this ensemble to.
